The village of Seahouses is a fascinating place, with history dating from around 3,000BC, but whose recent history begins in the late 18th century, with a fascinating roller coaster ride through agriculture, industry, religion and faith, fishing of a variety of types, the development of transport, and most recently the development of the tourist industry bringing us to today.

Our walk begins at the phone box seats  in the Main Car Park in Seahouses, and proceeds around the village, the harbour, and evidence of fish processing and industry.

Come and give it a try. You will find it fascinating and interesting.

And you will learn lots you thought you already knew!
